Final weekly digest for 2009!!!!

Can you believe it’s the end of 2009 (almost!). As the digest goes out on Friday (well mostly anyway) this is the final one of 2009 as next Friday will be Christmas Day…….and Yes even Internet Marketers take at least one day off a year. Mind you I am cooking a huge christmas dinner for about 10 people so not really sure its a day off. So please do not go searching in your email inbox on Christmas Day wondering where your Weekly Digest is 
It’s a time of reflection for many people at the end of one year and the start of another, so if you have anything you want to share with the group please email Eileen and it can be included in our 1st newsletter of 2010. I know that 2010 is a BIG year for me……..but more of that in the newsletter.

Expert Days

PLEASE REMEMBER to follow the 3 Steps below when booking an expert. People are still attempting to book dates with experts for days/times they are not available. Step 1 below shows you how you can check when an expert is available and what you need to do next…..
Daniel:
Next 1-2-1 sessions will be on 5th and 6th January 2010.
NOTE: The 5th January ONLY will be at the HUB if you want to meet face to face.
6th January will be via skype or phone.
James:
James will also be at the Hub on 5th January for his 1-2-1 sessions
Bernard:
Many of you will know our Google Adwords Guru, Bernard Haasbroek. He has moved back to South Africa now but will still be doing his expert sessions by skype. He has asked for Platinum Members to contact him on his skype name (instead of booking on Bookfresh) which can be found on the Expert page http://www.myinternetmarketingtutor.com/members/expert-team/
PLATINUM members, To book a 1:1 session (which must be booked at least 48 hours before)
Step 1 Go to; http://www.myinternetmarketingtutor.com/members/events/
Step 2 Click on the name of the Expert you want to book. You will then see the times they are available on that day. Make a note of this date and times.
Step 3 Then go to the Expert page http://www.myinternetmarketingtutor.com/members/expert-team/ for details of the on-line booking system. Select an available date and time from the date/time the Expert is available.
DO NOT assume your booking is guaranteed until you receive email confirmation of this. If you do not receive email confirmation within 48 hours of your request please contact Eileen – see below for contact details
NOTE: some experts ask for a questionnaire to be completed so please do this if requested. If the Expert is on Skype, note this and add them to your skype contacts.
NOTE: We do ask that if you cancel an Expert session that you do so giving 3 days notice (at least). If this notice is NOT given then you may be subject to a charge of £50.
This is in the Platinum Contract but I know some of you signed this quite some time ago – so this is just a reminder about cancelling expert sessions. Please bear in mind that the experts set this time aside especially for the group at NO COST, and there are instances when they may turn down paid work as a session has been booked. I am sure you will understand that if a session is then cancelled at short notice this is very disappointing for them. Daniel had two no shows this month which is not great. He gets into London to meet with you, so make sure you keep your appointments.
NPS Training after the Mastermind Meeting

The next training session will be on on Wednesday, 13th January 2010 following the Mastermind Meeting. Non Platinum pay £20, Platinum Members who are NPS buyers can come for free.

Highlights of December Platinum Meeting

- Daniel and James shared how they DOUBLED their members since last month to 250 and TRIPLED their database size to 3500 in the last 3 weeks…. WOW – great results Guys and I hope the group can get the same results and share them with the rest of us
- James gave a great presentation on outsourcing that was extremely valuable. I know Rita Khagram took action immediately and began contacting one of the recommendations made by James during the break!! Well done Rita – let us know how you get on with that as it would be good to know from you as it was your first attempt at doing this. If anyone else has taken this step please let us know your experience of how it all went.
- Our guest speaker was Matt Garrett who gave a BRILLIANT session on IMAdSwaps and how we can build HUGE lists using this. Adswaps are a strategy that anyone can follow once you have a list of around 500 – and I am sure that you all know by now that the money is in the list (and of course what you do with the list!). It was Matt’s first presentation but it certainly didnt seem like it was – he was very professional and he gave a huge amount of useful content to the group.
- Daniel spoke about his new business model for 2010 and how the membership levels will alter. Full details of this will be in your January newsletter so watch out for that. Good luck to Daniel and James with this new model.
- Christmas Party!!!! Well – the photos will say it all. From the VERY pink and VERY hairy jacket belonging to Lieve being worn by various members (my lips are sealed!) to the Turkey on the Head (I am not saying anything) to the YMCA dancing and the copius amount of champagne being drunk……………all I can say is that it was a very quiet and tame evening. Party???? What Party?
I am sure all those who attended will share with me in giving a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Daniel for putting on this party for us. Thanks to James for the music and also a HUGE thanks to Licia and Lieve for sorting out all the great food that they ordered. It was FAB! I seemed to be hearing lots very appeciative sounds being made when people were eating the home made cakes that Licia had brought along. AWESOME is a word that comes to mind. Thanks to you all – it was great even if a bit tame 
Platinum Group Meeting and Reminders – including NPS Training

-The PLATINUM Mastermind day will be on Wednesday 13th January at 12.30. Put it in your diary NOW and be there at 12.30 sharp! Invites will be sent out about a week before so please book your place if you are coming along. We ask for you to book so that we know how many are coming along so we know how many people to expect.
- We will finish the meeting at 6.30pm and then from 7pm onwards the NPS Training will begin.
