The Allimportant Title Tag… (EXCITING stuff – Really!)
I know what you are thinking…. exciting – the ‘title tag’? Actually YES! It is….. at least if you want to have FREE traffic from Googleritos
So here is the story: Back in 2007, I was still a busy ‘yogi’ spreading the word in my religious group, I built this website around ‘Free Meditation’… guess what – it was a 7 part FREE ecourse! LOL. And it worked (and still works when I last checked) really well.
So we were building a database (when you check it out, notice the country field) and passing on the leads so to say to the different centers round the world…
Anyway – the REAL story is this. Two days ago – guy emails me telling me he is upset with me as he offers FREE MEDIATION COURSES (notice the missing T!)… Me thinks – so what… but turns out when I created the html page for the course I did not write the title correctly…. and I am NOW OUT RANKING THE GUY on page 1….
So what’s the learning?
- the domain name, although important, is not the most important to rank
- the title tag is very, very important!
- you are lucky we have been saying this all along (including putting it into the Killer SqueezePage Generator…)
- time is on your side… just keep doing it… keep being out there. it pays off!
take care – until next time… SEO is exciting if you get the results…
to your success

Regarding spelling…In your Other Recommended Resources section with the giveaway (bottom right), do you mean ‘famous’ and ‘continuity’?

Great Example D.
By the way this is also important for Google Quality Score when you do PPC. Try to get your top keyword (not more than 3 keyword phrases) in the title tag, description and headline and you could start out with a 7+ Quality Score – We now even get 10/10 from the start!!!
Great tip
